We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, relationship-driven individual to join our team as a Media Campaign Coordinator. Media Campaign Coordinators are expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This person will be responsible for supporting all client campaign execution on The Doctor’s Channel as well as developing business within the Pharma industry, including our vast network of global agency partners. Top candidates will be critical thinkers with fantastic time management and planning skills. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the digital marketing and project management of medical communications and education-related client projects on The Doctor’s Channel. You will help gather, monitor, and report on current campaign KPIs, maintain marketing collateral, write and proofread ad copy, artwork production, act as a client-facing liaison with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and support marketing / sales RFP requests in order to generate new business for the company in a highly visible role with room for growth! 

 

Core Functions

  • Perform general marketing duties, such as managing email deployment calendar & scheduling client emails (HTML knowledge a plus), ad tag trafficking and programming, meeting follow-ups and ensuring we stick to client deadlines, updating & analyzing weekly / monthly / yearly client campaign reports. 
  • Develop and implement targeted communications and advertising content strategies across a variety of media platforms - Mailchimp, Wordpress back-end, Google Ad Manager, Facebook, etc.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including editorial staff, graphic designers, project managers, tech team, video production team, etc. to ensure client campaigns are completed on time and as required to keep clients happy.
  • Attend weekly client campaign meetings (Pharma client-facing liaison) and take notes on + follow-up on all pertinent client communications and project-related document requests based on the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Aid in the business development of the company by researching and responding to Pharma client RFPs including strategically thought-through tactic recommendations and innovative campaign ideas. (Excel skills required)
  • Manage medical education content calendar with medical writers for an audience of healthcare professionals (HCPs), including video scripts, e-newsletters, blog posts, journal articles, and slide presentations. 
  • Review all forms of digital media content and provide copy and compliance guidance to editors/designers
  • Exercise and communicate good judgment when assessing the level of editing a project requires and ensure quality control process steps are completed on all projects
  • Join other staff at industry conferences and client meetings, as needed

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Positive attitude, proactive problem solver, and a willingness to learn new skills (essential)
  • Bachelor's degree in communications/media or related
  • 1-3 years of work experience as a media coordinator or similar. Pharma ad agency experience a big plus! 
  • Strong digital skills (HTML knowledge, Excel, Email management systems, Ad tech background etc.)
  • Expert at targeted communications and advertising campaigns across various media platforms.
  • Experience with sales and marketing support preferred
  • Superb customer service, administrative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required as this will be a client-facing position
  • Ability to work independently, resolve conflicts and issues, and work proactively to achieve client campaign goals
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment on a wide variety of projects, with changeable deadlines and expectations, and to work effectively with off-site staff or freelancers
  • Strong computer skills and aptitude, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Adobe Creative Suite experience a big plus
    • Experience with Pharma platforms like VeevaVault PromoMats and FUSE a big plus

Travel: perhaps a few times per year. Primarily in the US, but at times overseas to Europe and potentially elsewhere

Location: HQ in NYC, and we maintain work from home office.

Education:
