Client is a biotechnology company focused on innovative therapeutic and aesthetic offerings, including our next-
generation investigational neuromodulator product, to help patients attain their
greatest health and well-being potential.


Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Medical Information, the Medical Information Specialist will be responsible for the
day-to-day handling of medical information inquiries and intake of adverse event and product complaint reports
from Client customers including clinicians and patients. This role is also involved in the development and update
of standard response letters and FAQs and can be involved in other projects supporting Medical Affairs operations.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Medical Information inquiries relating to Client products from health care professionals and
    patients
  • Be able to thoroughly listen to and understand inquiries, identify appropriate resources and provide
    solutions
  • Document the medical inquiries and fulfillment accurately within the CRM system
  • Recognize and collect information related to adverse events, product complaints and medical device
    reports, and process these reports in accordance with FDA regulations and Client policies
  • Develop and update product-related standard response letters and FAQs as needed
  • Be able to evaluate and interpret the published medical literatures and relevant in-house documents for the
    company’s products and formulate available information into appropriate responses
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, such as managing the process for Medical Education grant applications
    and Investigator Sponsored Trial applications
  • Attend congresses and support Medical Affairs booth as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with external and internal customers, participate in interdepartmental projects as
    needed

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Experienced in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Familiar with Medical Information/Communication standards within the pharmaceutical industry and
    applicable regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and active listening skills
  • Professional phone etiquette and familiarity with cloud-based phone systems

 

Preferred Education:

  • RN, PharmD, Pharmacist or MS in biological sciences or equivalent
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in Medical Information services or equivalent role
