Reporting to the Head of US Medical Affairs, the Sr. Manager of Medical Information will be responsible for the provision and oversight of high-quality Medical Information services to client customers. This role will serve as the lead for the Medical Information function, will provide direct customer service, handle medical information inquiries, act as an internal scientific resource and manage the Medical Information Specialist(s). The role will include the aggregation and internal communication of Medical Information service metrics and reports. The Sr. Manager of Medical Information will be an integral part of the Medical Affairs team, support the intergration between Medical Information and MSL teams, contribute and participate in team trainings and attend congresses to represent Medical Affairs at congress booths

• Handle appropriate Medical Information inquiries relating to Revance products from health care professionals and patients
• Be able to thoroughly listen to questions, identify appropriate resources and provide solutions
• Document the medical inquiries and fulfillment accurately within the CRM system
• Recognize and collect information related to adverse events, product complaints and medical device reports, and process these reports in accordance with FDA regulations and Revance policies
• Design, develop and maintain product-related standard response letters and FAQs as needed
• Be able to evaluate and interpret the published medical literature and relevant in-house documents for the company’s products and formulate available information into appropriate responses
• Attend congresses and assist in the provision of Medical Information at the Revance Medical Affairs booth
• Monitor the overall medical information process and perform quality control; lead business review meetings, and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Generate reports and metrics on Medical Information activities on a regular basis and present to cross functional teams as requested
• Perform other tasks as assigned, such as management of Medical Education grant application and Investigator Sponsored Trial application processes
• Facilitate flow of approved Medical Affairs content to MSL CRM system
• Communicate effectively with external and internal customers, actively participate in interdepartmental projects

Required Experience:

• Experienced in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Familiar with Medical Information/Communication standards within the pharmaceutical industry and applicable regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and active listening skills
• Professional phone etiquette and familiarity with cloud-based phone systems
• Management experience preferred

Preferred Education:

• RN, PharmD, Pharmacist or MS in biological sciences or equivalent
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in Medical Information services or equivalent role
